Privacy Policy

Zuriva (“the app”) is a mobile application developed by the Zuriva team. This policy explains what data the app processes, what stays on your device, and what is sent to third parties.

On-device processing

All photo enhancements run locally on your device via native C++ code. The original photo and the enhanced result never leave your phone — they are not uploaded to our servers or to any third party. When you choose the Portrait enhancement mode, the app uses Google ML Kit Face Detection, which also runs entirely on-device.

Information the app collects

• Photo access — only the photo you explicitly pick via the Android photo picker.
• Enhancement history — paths and mode metadata for the photos you have enhanced, stored locally. You can clear it any time from the History screen.
• Preferences — selected mode, intensity, onboarding status, premium entitlement. Stored locally.
• Anonymous client ID — a random UUID generated on first launch for analytics grouping. Not tied to any personal information.

Third-party services

The app uses the following services. Each processes data according to its own privacy policy (linked).

• Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage events. No photo data.
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports and diagnostic logs.
• Firebase Remote Config — server-driven feature flags. No user data is sent.
• Google AdMob — ads shown to free-tier users. May use Android advertising ID. Premium users see no ads.
• Google Play Services / Play Billing — purchase processing for premium.
• Google ML Kit — on-device face detection for Portrait mode. Image data is processed locally.

Diagnostic data

If the app crashes or encounters an error, crash-reporting tools may collect a stack trace, device model, OS version, and app version. No personal content is included.

Advertising identifier

If the app shows ads, ad networks use the Android Advertising ID (AAID) to deliver them. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time in Settings → Google → Ads.

Security

All network traffic is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS). Payment data is handled by Google Play Billing and never passes through our code.

Children's privacy

Zuriva is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete any such data.

Your rights

Most privacy rights (access, correction, deletion) can be exercised directly on your device: uninstall the app to delete all locally stored data, or use the in-app Clear History function where available.

Changes

This policy may be updated; the effective date above will be bumped. Material changes will be announced in the app's release notes.
